Description:
Since the update to xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+645+g88733a7-1, starting broke Firefox will mess up X in such a way that you have to switch to console and back to repair the corruption. Running Blink based browsers does not cause this. Additional info: * xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+645+g88733a7-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: startx firefox |

- in addition to above bug affects fonts display in terminal (not consol/VT) (tested with sakura & tilda), fonts are invisible when typed but appears after pressing "enter".
- bug also affects qutebrowser (qtwebkit based)
- after starting application like mpv or chromium, bug disappears ( until that application is in use), so one can use terminal/qutebrowser normally if mpv or chromium is running
- as posted above downgrading fixes the bug
