Details

Description:

In /usr/share/webapps/gitlab are two broken symlinks now:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 May 7 17:40 .gitlab_shell_secret -> /etc/webapps/gitlab-shell/secret
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 May 7 17:40 .secret -> /etc/webapps/gitlab/secret

Since the final file got renamed to secrets.yml.

Unfortunately sidekiq still fails :(

[...]
May 09 19:02:10 http-new systemd[1]: Started GitLab Sidekiq Worker.
May 09 19:02:18 http-new gitlab-sidekiq[31380]: Missing `db_key_base` for 'production' environment. The secrets will be generated and stored in `config/secrets.yml`
May 09 19:02:18 http-new gitlab-sidekiq[31380]: string not matched
May 09 19:02:18 http-new gitlab-sidekiq[31380]: /usr/share/webapps/gitlab/config/initializers/secret_token.rb:42:in `[]='
May 09 19:02:18 http-new gitlab-sidekiq[31380]: /usr/share/webapps/gitlab/config/initializers/secret_token.rb:42:in `<top (required)>'
[...]

Additional info:
* package version(s): gitlab 8.7.3-5
* config and/or log files etc.

Well you actually do need 3 secret files. The symlinks are broken by design. The post-install instruction tell you to put content into the secret files and to also copy the rails secrets.yml file.
