DetailsI upgraded my Arch yestoday include gcc 4.1 , glibc 2.4 and gnome's packages (I guess it's because the upgrade of gcc/glibc).
After I clicked gnome's clockapplet, it crashed. My system: P4 3G, Archlinux 0.72 x86. Locale: en_US.utf-8 |

try running this ?
and post ldd /opt/gnome/libexec/clock-applet
2. When running /opt/gnome/libexec/clock-applet, it shows
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
but there's no clock-applet icon on notification area. after 2~3 minutes,
it quit with this message "application finalize called".
cause you are missing nothing, and i am unable to reproduce
1. click the clock button
2. then a calender window shows
3. then I click the clock button the second time to hide calender window
4. then a warning window shows clockapplet has quit unexpectly
