The page at http://mirror.rit.edu/ says that the domain is mirrors.rit.edu, they have identical DNS entries, and with HTTPS they both serve a certificate for mirrors.rit.edu.
This change should be made because mirrors.rit.edu seems to be the preferred domain and it properly supports HTTPS unlike mirror.rit.edu.
