Description:
Parley cannot save/update existing collections.

Additional info:
local/parley 15.12.3-1 (kde-applications kdeedu)
parley 2.1.0

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start parley
2. Open an existing collection
3. Try to save it

Error message:
Writing file "/tmp/bugreport.kvtml" resulted in an error: The lock file can't be created.

There is a patch available at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357385
'qurl to qstring' patch would probably solve this issue.

The report you linked was marked as fixed a while ago. Please test 16.04 and if you still can reproduce open a new report upstream

Same thing happens with 16.04.
This bug is reproducible every time. 'The lock file can't be created'
