Hello,
I am running rxvt-unicode with the following font settings in .Xresources:

urxvt*font: xft:Inconsolata:size=9:antialias=true:hinting=true

With the new fontconfig version rxvt-unicode is not running with inconsolata-font.
I've fixed this issue with downgrading to 2.11.94-1

My rxvt-unicode version is: 9.22-1

I seem to have about the same problem. I'm using the DejaVuSansMono font (configured with `URxvt.font: xft:DejaVuSansMono:size=8` and `XTerm*faceName: DejaVuSansMono`). After upgrading to fontconfig 2.11.95-1 the font doesn't look the same, either in urxvt or xterm. Downgrading to 2.11.94-1 fixes it for me as well. I've attached screenshots of how it looks with both versions.

Upstream want hintslight to be the default and that's what we are shipping. Feel free to change the hintstyle for all system or per app.

I see nothing to change here.
