Details

Description: Updated to 4.5-1 and sound has stopped working on my T100TA with byt-rt5640 audio chipset. Sound does initialize and work on 4.4.5-1


Additional info:
* linux 4.5-1
* dmesg attached


Steps to reproduce:

1. Install update
2. Check pavucontrol after computer starts back up
3. Only have dummy output

Would this be the same driver as byt-max98080? If so,  FS#48936

Possible. I'm not sure exactly what driver covers it and if it is the same driver if the lack of sound is the same issue between the two.

Nope, I'm wrong. The issue there is a completely missing driver. Yours is present, it just doesn't work.

And looking at the kernel config info, I'm now thinking it is a duplicate. I was confused by byt vs bytcr drivers.
