Details

Since Arch already ships Firefox with Gtk3, it would make sense to also build Thunderbird against Gtk3.

With the slight difference that Firefox GTK3 is upstream default, while Thunderbird not. But I agree we could do that.

Firefox 45 still doesn't default to GTK3.

Oh, I thought it did, but after checking, they indeed postponed it again and again. So we definitively should build with GTK3.

gtk_style_context_get_border_color has been deprecated since GTk3 version 3.16 and should not be used in newly-written code.

It generates display bug as shown in #53074, #53071 and some others.
