Updating extra/pango 1.39.0-1 -> 1.40.0-1 breaks GDM and
GNOME entirely.
Error: undefined symbol libpangoft fcweightfromopentype Reverting to 1.39 fixes the problem, and allows GDM/GNOME to start. |

EDIT: Looks like this may have been caused by using infinality's outdated fontconfig and associated packages.
