DetailsI'm speaking about the index.html file in the apache pkg.
The current apache test page is IMHO quite unattractive. Moreover the HTML isn't valid ( http://validator.w3.org/ ). I've created a new test page. It's attached. Please let me know if you like it. The images in my html file are inline, so you only need one file and nevertheless you have a nice archlinux and apache icon. |
This task depends upon
index.html
AFAIK Debian has its own Apache page, so it is not something bas to change default index.html in Arch.
BTW, IMHO it is better not to use <small>. It is not deprecated but it is presentational tag, it is better to use <span> and CSS for rendering small text.
I've updated the code a bit. I hope it looks better now.
The only thing is that M$ IE does not support data: URLs, but who cares. :-)
I always didn't like Apache's non-standards-compliant pages.
Maybe we could also have modified error pages? ;-)
To devs: please-please-please include this in apache package! ;-)
