The "-c" switch is present in the list of possible switches in the manpage for ping (man 8 ping), yet unlike the other switches it is not documented in the "Options" section. I propose the following documentation to be added for this switch: -c count Transmit count packets. If unspecified, transmit packets until interrupted. Additional info: ping is part of the package iputils; the version I'm reporting this about is 20150815.1c59920-3. |
