Details
Many people are hitting issues today with the update to 3.20
due to still running xf86-input-synaptics (or other), rather
than xf86-input-libinput (or libinput directly) which is now
mandated under gnome for proper functionality. They just
aren't aware of this new dependency and are treating it as
if it is a bug rather than a design decision

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: People don't read optdepends. GNOME works perfectly fine with whatever input driver you choose, it's just that you can't configure non-libinput devices from the control panel anymore.
