Description: Large sizes (required for HiDPI displays) defined in http://st.suckless.org/ which using fontconfig IIUC look fugly.

e.g.

Steps to reproduce:
Configure st with a large font (e.g. 48)
Look at ugly results.

I'm told this not reproducible on Gentoo, hence a problem on Arch?

More likely a version difference or use of a different font.

Please try 2.11.95 in testing and if still present ask upstream, if this is a bug. We ship a plain vanilla pkg.
