Detailsit would be nice if gnuplot was compiled with --with-bitmap-terminals option, since it allows to output to serveral different formats, 2 of which are quite useful:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netpbm_format and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixel which in turn allow capable terminals to display directly the output |
