Description:

Current cmus version (2.7.1-8) is built without ffmpeg support and can't play ALAC (m4a) files. Building with ffmpeg fails (./configure CONFIG_FFMPEG=y). Older versions were built with ffmpeg support and played ALAC files successfully.

What version of ffmpeg do you have? Attempting to rebuild cmus in a clean chroot currently fails on my system when forcing ffmpeg support.

I have the latest ffmpeg 1:3.0-1 and I also can't build it with ffmpeg support anymore. It used to work earlier (some months ago).
