Resuming playback from where it was last stopped (introduced
in version 2.2) is broken in VLC 2.2.2. It has been fixed
upstream in the 2.2.3 nightly builds. However, especially
given VLC's not-so-regular release schedule, IMO this is a
feature useful enough to warrant patching.
Package version: 2.2.2-3 Steps to reproduce: Open a media file with VLC through a file manager or the terminal, go to any timepoint, close VLC and reopen the file. A bar should appear at the top with the option to continue playback where left off, but it doesn't happen. |
