Description:
In version 7.4.1584-1 the help function of vim is not working anymore. :help produces an error message.

In fact, vim is unable to find any file if it is provided with an absolute path:

:e test.txt "works
:e /home/test/test.txt "error message

Additional info:

* config and/or log files etc.

I don't reproduce the problem of absolute path, but I have the problem with vim help command.

Step to reproduce in vim:

:help

I have "E149: Sorry, no help for help.txt" error.

I have the same problem with :help (not with the absolute path). I believe the issue is that vim-runtime 7.4.1584-1 is missing the /usr/share/vim/vim74/doc/tags file. On another installation, I have vim-runtime 7.4.1386-1, which does have /usr/share/vim/vim74/doc/tags, and :help works.

I confirm, that taking the file "tags" from the git repository of vim and putting it in "/usr/share/vim/vim74/doc/" command :help works.

Should be fixed in 7.4.1639. The version just pushed to [testing]. Please check that it works as expected.
