Yahoo is rejecting all our mails from luna.archlinux.org and not reacting to mails to postmaster@yahoo.com. Their rejection message doesn't say why exactly they reject mails. It just points to a list of 82039490 things that *could* help if you follow them, but apparently don't.

I have no idea what's going on and since they don't respond and the rejection message feels really arrogant ([TS03] All messages from 5.9.250.164 will be permanently deferred; Retrying will NOT succeed. See https://help.yahoo.com/kb/postmaster/SLN3436.html) I've stopped caring. I mean, how can you put permanently and deferred into the same sentence like that? Their postmaster website also has some similarly contradicting and also incorrect information.

I just noticed that this has only ever been discussed on arch-general, aur-general and arch-devops, but never on arch-dev-public. I'm sorry if you missed it because of that. Also the problem exists since beginning of January.

Could we add a warning to the sign up forms for the boards and wiki warning people about this?

We are getting an increasing number of emails from people that need manual password resets and it would be great to short circuit at least some of those.

Sorry to hear you are getting that many mails. I've added the following warning to the register page of the wiki and the forums:

> Note: We are currently experiencing delivery issues to Yahoo. Please do not use a Yahoo email account to sign up.

Thanks Florian :)

Is this still an issue? Looking at the server it seems that yahoo mails are delivered again.

We haven't had a complaint for quite some time: I'll remove the warning from the registration page and we'll see if that behaviour changes.

Do you have the necessary permissions to remove them yourself?

Seems not :p

In that case I'll remove the changes again, but I'm not sure when exactly. I'll look into it soonish. Thanks!

I've removed the warning from the forum login form. As for the wiki, it looks like the warning was lost during the upgrade to 1.26.4 already so nothing to do there. If I broke anything please ping me via mail/IRC.
