One of the new features in LibreOffice 5.1 (fresh) is its integration with Google Drive. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use this new feature.

When I ask to open a remote file, the dialog asks me to select from an empty list of services, or to add a new service. Pressing the button to add a new service brings another dialog, with a pull-down list of services. The first option is Google Drive, the the username and password entry boxes are disabled, as is the OK button. Other services are unavailable like this; the only services for which the entry boxes are enable are those that need the user to enter the server URL.

I asked for help in the forums, and was advised to report it as a bug: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1611830

I am using libreoffice-fresh 5.1.1-1 on GNOME 3.18, and GNOME's integration with Google Drive is working as described by the its release notes. The optional dependencies I installed are: java-runtime, libmythes, vigra, libwpg, sane, gst-plugins-base-libs, libpaper, postgresql-libs, coin-or-mp and gtk3. The optional dependencies not currently installed are: java-environment, pstoedit, beanshell2, libmspack, unixodbc and kdelibs. My java runtime is OpenJDK 8, packages jre8-openjdk and jre8-openjdk-headless.

I will look into this Debian bug if we can go the same way: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=780253

You may try this yourself with a local build.

It worked! I used $_google_default_client_id and $_google_default_client_secret from Chromium's PKGBUILD.
