For testing EAP-PEAP & EAP-TTLS in RADIUS servers, the eapol_test binary is very useful (often used via the third-party "rad_eap_test" wrapper).

It needs an explicit "make eapol_test" after the main build, and manual installation of the eapol_test binary to /usr/bin. The manpage seems to be included always, though. (The CONFIG_EAPOL_TEST option doesn't actually seem to have any significance.)

Pretty sure this will do the trick.

Hmm, that's not quite enough – I just noticed that it builds eapol_test without IPv6 support.

@grawity - Good catch. I just assumed it didn't support IPv6 and didn't look into it further. I'll definitely be making use of that.

It is worth noting that it looks like wpa_supplicant must also be built with IPv6 support. The patch grawity submitted works, but if eapol_test were to be split into a different package for some reason, it would be important to make sure the current package was built correctly.
