Description:
The acpi_call package from the repos doesn't work with linux-zen, it needs to be recompiled for it every release, making kernel upgrades a pain. It would be nice if it was available beside in the official repos.

However, weirdly, tp_smapi works fine, even though it needs to be recompiled for e.g. linux-ck.

Thanks.

Of course it doesn't work, it's built for the "linux" package in Core. If kernel updates are a problem, just use the dkms version of the module in the AUR.

The maintainer of the zen kernel has said he will not provide any binary modules for it.
