Description:

I've installed the latest update of virtualbox to version 5.0.14-4. It seems the package virtualbox-host-modules has been removed in favour of the DKMS version, which should compile the modules using an ALPM hook. The problem is after installation no vbox* modules are created. The installation shows that the hooks are called, but the build log of DKMS is empty, so probably there is an issue with the hooks themselves.

I've tried reinstalling virtualbox-host-dkms and then the modules are built correctly.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Same as  FS#48355 ?

Probably. My scenario is different, though, as I had no prior DKMS packages (or event dmks itself) installed.

I should also mention that reinstalling virtualbox-host-dkms fixed things before I updated to dkms-2.2.0.3+git151023-6.

If it's probably the same, let's keep the discussion together. I'll close this one.
