The most recent version of the compton package from pacman (0.1_beta2.5-1) is causing me an issue where it hangs almost all of my X session when I call "compton -b" (I can move the mouse but that's it). When I don't provide the "-b" switch, it works fine.

Looking at the PKGBUILD, it looks like it should be getting the most recent version, but when I either use the compton-git package in the AUR or download it from github myself, the problem goes away, so something seems off. What version is the compton package actually getting, and what version *should* it be using?

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Of course it's not. It's building from a specific commit, not git HEAD. That's why there's a separate package for -git.
