Description:
upower-0.99.4 broke power-applet in cinnamon. After downgrading to upower-0.99.3 works again.

upower in version 0.99.4 migrated to GDBUS (need dbus-glib no more) - this is (maybe) the problem

0.99.4-1 is bad because it segfaults in some cases. Besides that, I don't think applications running with 0.99.3 libraries will work with a running 0.99.4 daemon or the other way around because of other changes in upower.

So far I don't see any issue with upower 0.99.4-2 in GNOME, so this looks like a cinnamon issue.

This is very possible, but it showed up in 0.99.4. (Possibly due to port GDBus in upower + ??bad implementation in Cinnamon??)
