DetailsDescription:
Pitivi seems to require the python-dbus package. But it appears it is not installed as a dependency. Without this package, many dialog windows simply won't open. (eg the "rendering dialog window") Adding the package "python-dbus" as a dependency would solve the problem. Additional info: * Pitivi 0.95 * Python stack trace : " File "/usr/lib/pitivi/python/pitivi/utils/system.py", line 214, in __init__ self.bus = dbus.Bus(dbus.Bus.TYPE_SESSION) AttributeError: module 'dbus' has no attribute 'Bus' " Steps to reproduce: * Install Pitivi (without python-dbus already installed by another package) * Click on the "Rendering" button. Nothing happens. It is the same for the "Project preferences" button. |
