The file tmux.vim is installed to /usr/share/tmux/tmux.vim and to /usr/share/vim/vimfiles/syntax/tmux.vim as a regular file. But the two files seem to be identical. I think you could turn one of them into a symlink. And when you are add it you can also put a symlink to the same file into /usr/share/nvim/runtime/syntax as the neovim package has reached community so we could support it here.
