Description:
Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to report and if this is really a kernel bug because it is hard to reproduce. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X230 and use it with a Docking Station (Type 4337) and two external monitors. This used to work normally but for some time now I get "general protection faults" seemingly randomly when I leave the laptop and do not work on it for some time (i.e., I expect this happens because of some power saving feature, e.g., when monitors are turned off). Then, the laptop does not respond anymore, even if I take it out of the docking station, I have to shut it down by pressing the power off button. This error did not happen so far when the laptop is not docked.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
Linux schwarzbaer 4.4.1-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 3 13:12:33 UTC 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
Boot Lenovo X230 laptop in docking station Type 4337 with external monitors. Leave it for some time. The general protection fault does not always happen but I could reproduce this now at least 5 times (although I never know when it happens).

Please tell me if I can provide additional logs.

Thanks,
Dominik
