I ran into this following the instructions on https://archlinux.fr/yaourt-en even with https://github.com/elieux/pacman/commit/23f128ad5e2b Reason and correction: I debugged into this and found that "$(declare -p $i)" expands to "declare -ax arch=...". So a possible solution is to remove the blank after "-a" Instead of if [[ "$(declare -p $i)" != "declare -a "* ]]; then do if [[ "$(declare -p $i)" != "declare -a"* ]]; then |
