DetailsHi,
When you install dnsmasq just as a DNS proxy, it works fine. But if you use its DHCP server role, it fails to start because of missing directories. I stumbled upon this today, and it looks like i was not the only one ( http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NAT%27ing_firewall_-_Share_your_broadband_connection ). Could you please create these required directories: /var/db /var/lib/misc I think it would be appreciated. NB: i filed this bug on the dnsmasq package, but maybe the creation of these directories belongs to another package (filesystem?). Best thanks (i am sharing my internet connection thanks to iptables and dnsmasq :) ) |

Isn't dnsmasq really great? Simon (the developer) is really great, too. I worked through an issue we were having with our HP printers with him, and he's really responsive and knowledgeable.
