Description:

Every since the KDE updates from the last couple of days, kmymoney now delays for about 10 secs after it is closed. The result of this is that if you start kmymoney again within that 10 secs (for the same or another KMM file) then you get a "kmymoney is already running" popup.

Additional info:
* package version(s): kmymoney 4.7.2-3

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start kmymoney on a file.
2. Close the app/file.
3. Start kmymoney again on that or another file within about 10 secs.
4. Witness the warning popup.

I should add that I am running kmymoney with the GNOME desktop.

Instead of clicking on the file, I ran kmymoney at the command line and it prints normal output but after closing it just sits there for the 10 secs and then finally the following line is output:

"QClipboard: Unable to receive an event from the clipboard manager in a reasonable time"

I.e. same problem as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710854 from 2011.

OK, so I am using https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/779/clipboard-indicator/ GNOME clipboard extension so I killed that and restarted gnome-shell. Problem still occurred. Then I noticed that various KDE processes remain running so I rebooted my box leaving the extension disabled and now the problem has gone away.

So sorry about that. This bug seems to be some incompatibility between that extension and the (recently changed?) behavior of KDE apps when running under GNOME environment. You can close this bug and I will raise a bug on that extension's github project.

FYI, here's the bug I raised on the GNOME extension: https://github.com/Tudmotu/gnome-shell-extension-clipboard-indicator/issues/36.
