DetailsThe captcha of "Create account" in the ArchLinux-Wiki requires the output of "pacman -V". So to solve this captcha, one needs to have pacman installed.
I'm not using Archlinux (yet), so I do not have pacman installed and thus have no chance of passing this captcha. Please replace the captcha by another one which does not require software available on ArchLinux only. Some ideas: LC_ALL=C bash --version LC_ALL=C cat --version LC_ALL=C ls --version |

The captcha used for registering a new wiki account requires running an up-to-date Arch system. Nonetheless, users of other operating systems are very welcome of course, provided they only contribute generic Linux-related content: in order to answer the captcha, they are advised to boot the latest Arch live image, for example in a virtual machine, or send an email to an active administrator for help."
