DetailsDescription:
Did some looking around after noticing a journalctl error log saying: systemd-udevd[291]: specified group 'plugdev' unknown. Tracked it back to the /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/99-vantage.rules which is new to [libindi] 1.2.0-1. I also noticed a similar bug report for version 1.1.0-1 of this package involving another udev rule that is now using uaccess instead of the non-existent plugdev group. That prior rule being /lib/udev/rules.d/99-perfectstar.rules. Additional info: * package version(s): [libindi] 1.2.0-1 * config and/or log files etc.: /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/99-vantage.rules provided by this package Steps to reproduce: Install libindi without a plugdev group on system and trigger the udev rules via udevadm or a reboot to find an error log in journalctl. |
