DetailsInstalling libinfinity (to host a gobby server) requires gtk2 which in turn pulls in other X-dependencies one does not need on a server.
The official compiling instructions say that gtk2 is optional: http://infinote.0x539.de/libinfinity/API/libinfinity-0.6/custom-compiling.html Is there any reason gtk2 is listed as a required dependency? $ pacman -Si libinfinity Repository : community Name : libinfinity Version : 0.6.7-1 Description : An implementation of the Infininote protocol written in GObject-based C Architecture : armv6h URL : http://gobby.github.io/ Licenses : GPL Groups : None Provides : None Depends On : gnutls>=1.7.2 gsasl>=0.2.21 glib2>=2.16 libxml2>=2.0 gtk2 Optional Deps : avahi: zeroconf support gtk2: gtk support Conflicts With : None Replaces : None Download Size : 393.13 KiB Installed Size : 1851.00 KiB Packager : Arch Linux ARM Build System <builder+xu5@archlinuxarm.org> Build Date : Wed Nov 18 17:17:53 2015 Validated By : MD5 Sum SHA256 Sum Signature |
