DetailsRecent versions of opensmtp does not include support for backend "db" for tables. The option "--enable-table-db" has to be passed explicitly to configure at build time.
Currently if a "db" table is used int the configuration: [...] table secrets db:/etc/smtpd/secrets.db [...] opensmtpd fails with error: # smtpd -vn fatal: table_create: backend "db" does not exist |

Additional comments about closing: This does not seem to be too popular. If you need that feature, you can rebuild the package, e.g. using ABS.

I confirm, experiencing the same bug after upgrade.
