Details
There are plenty of open source font projects that use the
SIL Open Font License (OFL) [1], so it can be considered a
"common" open source license. But it needs some header
information, the license cannot be added to Arch's licenses
package, but has to be installed for each package using it.
Namcap already has an exception list for licenses with
similar problems, like BSD and MIT. So the feature request
is to add the OFL to that list. One does no longer need to
add 'custom: OFL' to the license field to satisfy Namcap.
