Details

The package builds several subfolders of tools/ folder of linux kernel source tree as separate packages.

However, hv/ folder is not build.

It would be nice to have a separate hv-tools package for the tools related to Hyper-V hypervisor.

I give it a try for 4.5. Seems to be broken.

Just in case anyone wants to work on it, here is more information. Also, it isn't broken anymore.

In Ubunty, this component is packaged in rather strangely named linux-cloud-tools-common package. The components are not for clouds but for one hypervisor named Hyper-V. So hv-tools is a more appropriate name I think. So Arch needs something like that. The distribution-specific bash and systemd scripts which are not in the kernel source can be ported from there.
