DetailsI think it would be a good idea to put the new XOrg server and video drivers in the Testing repo... IIRC 7.1 is supported by the current nvidia driver, and the open-source radeon driver is very much improved from what I've heard, so I don't think it would ruin 3D support for people's video cards. That said, it would probably be a good idea to keep it in Testing until it was supported by fglrx.
Failing that, I guess the place to put it would be Unstable, since it probably could be considered so to a degree until it works with fglrx... |

Okay, I get the problem with the XOrg server... What about the new open-source video and input drivers though? Would those be compatible with the older Xorg server, or would they break hideously?
