Interaction with external programs (like gap) is broken in sagemath 7.0 unless this patch is applied to pexpect: https://github.com/pexpect/pexpect/commit/07ca73ad72f20b026737a50136e8cd266f7ece49 Can it please be backported? TIA |

pexpect is used by many other packages too. Would rather see
problems fixed by sage or pexpect upstream.
