j2sdk won't find .class files in same dir.

We tryed to compile a little program with multiple .java files.
And the files were not able to files in the same diretory.
This task depends upon

Can you explain it a little better? I use j2sdk for some of my assignments. No problems with accessing class files in the local directory. Can you explain more?

Is your CLASSPATH env var set right?
