When I log in in my plasma graphical environment, the network applet does not apper in the task bar and a blank space is present instead of it.
Restarting the NetworkManager service solves the problem even if before restarting it, it is reported as correctly running by systemctl status

This is a bug in Qt that will be fixed in 5.6. Until then there's not much we can do about it. See for details
