spampd is run under its own user "spampd", which has its home directory set to /home. Please consider changing it to /var/lib, or don't set it at all (like /var/null), since it is only used to store the PID file, which I think should be placed in /run (like many other daemons do). Ok, please ignore that. I just realized that spamassassin also saves its data in the user home directory. But I still think that /var/lib is more appropriate here.
Are you happy with spampd 2.30-11?
