mysql support is experimental and disabled by default. I've enabled it for the beta version in kde-unstable, will let Ronald decide what to do in the stable one.

I would like to see MySQL support turned on as well, please.
Experimental or not, it's turned on in other distros.
If I want distributed digikam with one mysql database on Arch, my only option is digikam-git, which is not digikam4, but digikam5, and a heck of a lot more unstable. (And a pain to compile)

Thanks, Antonio.

Do you know if the newer digikam will have mysql enabled?
