Hi,

are there any plans to support dmraid during the installation? Afaik, dmraid is in aur, so it is a bit difficult to make use of it if you just setup a box from cd / ftp.

I have created mkinitcpio scripts for dmraid. This way I'm able to boot from a dmraid array.

Notice: I have manually edited /etc/mkinitcpio.conf MODULES="pata_jmicron ext3" (this works in my case, it depends on the board and the filesystem).

It should be quite easy to include this package in the install CD. Just add it also to the boot image (and probably look for available partitions in /dev/mapper).

Works fine for me. Created wiki: Installing with Fake-RAID that uses exactly this pkgbuild and not AURs.
