Details

as of pcsx2 1.3.1-6 starting the executable yields to a [1] 5751 trace trap (core dumped) pcsx2 ( attached below )
backing up the config data and starting fresh leads to a graphic artifacts where most of the forms are empty and missing gui controls and text such as https://imgur.com/JpVhMvX

i suspect a simple rebuild should suffice

sorry for the late reply, i was on vacation, latest release updated the package and made the problem go away, so the ticket is obsolete now
