Description:

There is a patch out for this at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7379896/rftg/index.html

It fixes the following bugs:

Bugs
* Fix crashes when taking over using IL
* Fix problems during payment when having Galactic Scavengers
* Fix instances where log format from server was lost
* Try to avoid weird bug where game begins over and over again

And adds several new features to the UI while keeping compatibility with old save games

Does this patch even have a chance of being accepted upstream? Until it has been, there's not much chance of it being included, that's better handled in an AUR package.

Actually if you read the site you will find that previous version of this patch has already be included upstream. The only reason that this version of the patch has not been accepted upstream is the developer stopped work on rftg a year ago.

And if you check the rftg development form on Board Game Geek you will find that the current version of this patch was applied to a beta version of the upstream rftg, that was again never released because the developer gave up on the project.

The segfault occurs because the campaign_name (passed with -c at the command line) is uninitialized
when strcmp is called. Very surprising that nobody else has run into this yet.
