Version 1.10 causes Kodi to crash (segfault) with certain MP3 files.
The conclusion that taglib 1.10 is to blame comes from a Kodi ticket I created: http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16463
There is a fix from Kodi that should get backported into v16 due to this ticket: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/8524

Has anyone reported this to taglib upstream?

Until someone does, the only thing we can do here is backport the workaround to kodi

FTR: This is fixed upstream already, but the fix doesn't apply to 1.10. We need to wait for a new release.
