DetailsHi,
I already complained about this in [1]. Long story short. Just having the Noto font installed causes Chrome to go nuts with it's font spacing. I don't know why nor do i care. Somehow Chrome like to just use this font if it's installed. The reason for it being installed is the frameworkintegration package which requires it. I would like to request the Archlinux devs to patch the frameworkintegration package to not install these fonts anymore and not require them. They always break "something" for me, so i'm sure there are others out there that see this as well and are still searching for a reason why their Chromium suddenly has messed up fonts. Locally i forcefully remove noto and oxygen when a frameworkintegration update installed them again, that seems to work just fine. [1] https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1587249 |

If something is broken then it needs to be fixed, not worked around by breaking something else.
