I also have encountered this issue while installing "itch" from the AUR (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/itch/) on a system with the package "kde-applications-meta" installed.

Even after 13 months, and even after the package was renamed to community/babel-cli, this error still occurs. Perhaps you should either rename one of the files at /usr/bin/babel or add openbabel to the conflicts array.
