The pacakge xarchiver in version 0.5.4-2-x86_64 has the optional dependency arj for ARJ support though this package does not exist in the official repositories. There is, however, a package unarj in community. Additional info: * 0.5.4-2-x86_64 Steps to reproduce: 1) Make sure, xarchiver is not installed $ pacman -R xarchiver 2) Install xarchiver with $ pacman -S xarchiver You'll see, amongt others, the following optional dependency: arj: ARJ support 3) Try to install that dependency: $ pacman -S arj You'll get something like: error: target not found: arj |

xarchiver does not support the unarj command, so I simply removed arj from optdepends.
