Details
The Apache Tomcat packages currently hard codesthe log files
(errfile and outfile) to be SYSLOG. This forces the user to
reproduce the entire ExecStart option to set the log files.
Instead, use a mechanism like an Environment option to allow
users to more easily set the log files, defaulting to
SYSLOG.

The attached unit file works in both default (SYSLOG) and
explicitly set modes using `systemctl edit tomcat7`.
Good idea. I will ship this along with the next Tomcat 7 upstream
release.
